Successful Information Management is critical for business success. Reduce the risk and costs of integrating business systems, by generating XML Schemas from an agreed Logical Data Model.

In this session, delivered by industry expert and experienced modeling and metadata practitioner, George McGeachie, we will examine the factors to be considered when designing XML Schemas based upon a Logical Data Model, and demonstrate the capabilities and approaches Sybase PowerDesigner uses to successfully generate and manage XML Schemas.

George McGeachie has worked in the field of modeling and metadata since the 1980s, in the UK, Saudi Arabia and Germany. George's first IT role utilized the ICL Data Dictionary System, which generated application systems and databases from a metadata repository. Has the world progressed since those days?
